Picked corn yesterday with A Farmall M and new idea picker. Afterwards chopped stalks with an old John Deere stalk chopper. First time I ever used it and I was impressed it did a great job

I've pulled a stalk chopper like that for many miles, albeit in a different crop than corn. They do a great job, but man if they won't rattle your teeth loose when turning around on endrows in hard ground if it's not on a 3pt hitch.

I grew up on a JD 60. Got to use neighbors 70, felt like such a bigger tractor!

My dad in 1956. JD A, woods corn stalk chopper and disk.

Not sure if this is a JD 45 combine, same year 1956.
