Heres 10 pictures from the Jasper,MO pull held yesterday afternoon June 13th...The numbers were down some as lots were in the field-etc...The little lady on the Super 88 Oliver was the pull chair person and did a fine job....It was a nice sunny day with the temp around 90..Its getting dry on top and we could use a nice 1/2 inch rain....I finally got my 427 Continental Massey 101 puller down the track spinning out at 271 ft in the 4500 Open...As I got back to the trailer the top radiator hose on the 101 blew with a bang..I'll add 10 more pics in another post.

Its getting dry here...Lots of heat and only 1/2 inch of rain in the past 22 days..However,yesterday afternoon just NW of where these pulling pictures were taken they had 2-4 inches of rain....Ronnie Budd can probably tell us more as he lives where it happened..The pulling track had a good rain.

We got about 3 inches. It was a very small cell and very localized. The rain was very welcome because the corn was curling and twisting up, and the beans that got planted Friday are starting to come up.

Yes, it is. The movie was highly fictional though. The real Jasper Missouri is nowhere nearly as big. We do have a few characters, but it's a peaceful farming based town of about 900 people.
