I took a bunch of pictures of the Dalton MN show yesterday. They are posted in the general topic area here on YT for anyone interested.

Wasn't much Case stuff there and I consentrated on the unusual or odd.

Great pic's. Anyone know what for engine that Chalmers "L" Crawler has in it? It has 2 carb's.

John, If I remember rite , Allis used there own engine in the "L" crawler. I think that was the eng. that could be converted to burn low cost fuel also . It was a little different . clint

Your comments regarding the photo of the Allis Chalmers "L" crawler, you mention the two carbs, yes that is an Allis Chalmers engine which runs on gasoline. However Allis did also build the model "LO" which was a spark (magneto) ignition, low compression diesel (Hesselman desgn )
There is an "LO" not to far from where I live here in New Zealand. I do beleive that there was 5 of them originally sold here new.

Other than the fact that it runs and drives and the hydraulics work I really don't know where it's from. About 1/4 scale, diesel too.


Couple of years ago there was a ton Case stuff there, not much this year.
