Pinion gear

Need a good pinion gear for a 1948 model R. It is a seven tooth pinion gear and ten tooth spline on shaft. Have checked a number of Minneapolis salvage places with no luck. Hope someone here might have one.

Pinion and ring gear are a matched set. Have to be changed together. I would have whole back of R MB

Bought a used set that was in good shape. The bearing I need is the roller bearing in the housing that the end of the shaft sits in. Something terrible happened to this tractor and snapped the pinion shaft where it mounts in the housing. It had a loader, rear chains and a weight bucket.

Glad you found most of what you need. Bearing for this model will be a challenge. After five months I have found all the bearings in the transmission and differential.
