Piston Rings

Last week a friend gave a small box that contained three piston rings thinking that I may be able to use them in some tractor restoration, however they are much to small. They would fit a three and a half inch bore and are one quarter inch wide and there is no oil ring. I am thinking they are for a small stationary engine that had the oiler on top. They are still in their original JD box and the part # is AE253RT JD piston rings. Would someone know what they fit ? Thank you .---------Harold

Sounds like you have rings for a John Deere 1 & 1/2 hp hit & miss.
