pistons for c-301

anyone have or know where to get a set of .060 pistons for a c-301 going to build one this winter am going to use stock rods

I was realy wanting .060 over dome tops if I can find them

Napa can get the stock firecrater up to .060 over. A higher compression piston would be a flat top piston. Check out Ross Pistons they have them from std bore up to bigger bore sizes. Maybe a truck engine piston would do fine,,,,, Most of em were flat tops.

New ones are expencive!! Hint,,,, The C-200 gas 4 cyl Ih engine, uses the same piston as the 301. Same overbore options, dont know if high compression options are available or not. Anyways,, might buy 2 kits of the C-200 kits, have 8 pistons and maybe,, up to 100 bucks cheaper, and have 2 extras.
