Planetary to upper transmission part installation

International 300 utility tractor owner here. I pulled the part that goes from the planetary gears to the upper transmission to clean some rust that was in the bearing,(don't know the part name) but I can't put it back in without knocking one of 8 cylinder bearings out. I can't find anything online to help me, and I've used all of my ideas, minus finishing pulling the entire planetary system and trying to install the two parts outside the tractor. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Part number I think is 260643 HI

Put a rubber band around the bearing to keep the rollers in and tight. Once you get it started on, cut and take the rubber band out.
How is he going to do that? You’re thinking about the pilot bearing that sets in the transmission shaft.
Hello …Patriot, welcome to YT! Put about a pea sized dab of grease in the spots where the rollers set in opposite the springs to “kind of” glue them in place, the thicker and stickier it is the better. Then when placing it in there use constant pressure slightly turning the front engaging part the direction that will compress the springs. Before you put the cover on pour a 1/2 pint or so of trans fluid right on the spot where they join together to help dilute the grease and “wash” it out of there. When you join the transmission to the TA section then you can place the rubber band around the roller bearing on the front of the main transmission shaft as matthies suggested. This will pull the bottom rollers that hang down up so that it goes together easier. The fluid will disintegrate the rubber band. You might be able to cut it and remove it in this case. In some other instances in tractors without TAs sometimes when pulling the input shaft and reinstalling it without the top cover removed is when you just have to leave it in there.
