During the last Amazon sale days a couple months ago, I bought the Bestarc in the link below, the 3rd gen.
Only thing I've done with it was cut up an old lawnmower blade maybe a little less than 1/4 thick, just to make sure it worked, it did fine.
Bought it because price, good reviews, supposedly handle up to 5/8 steel, don't have to touch the material you're cutting to get things started, and the consumables are AG60 style which I guess are standardized, not some proprietary thing.
All kinds of youtube videos about it.
I don't expect a whole lot from it, but then I don't need it for a whole lot.
