So dirt scoops are fairly run of the mill, but I have a weird one. Its really like a 3 point back end loader. The dump cylinder is like nothing I have seen before, and acts like a hydraulic spring, if you will. With the lever in the closed position, the cylinder is extended and the bucket lays flat on the ground. Pull the lever, and the weight of what you have in the bucket compresses the cylinder, and dumps the load. When the weight of the load is out of the bucket, the pressure built from the compression of the cylinder is greater than the weight of the bucket, so it rights its self. Then, releasing the lever, the valve is closed and the cylinder remains extended. I believe this is somewhat of a home made deal, however ingenious. Can someone ID this make and model of loader for me?
