Yes, just start telling people about that maybe interested and they will come. There is one located in Deansboro, NY either the third or fourth weekeend in April.

Been to a handful of them. They are a blast.

Here are a few thoughts. If you are associated with a club of some sort use that resource to get the word out (newsletter?).

Couple other thoughts that will help with people coming back. If at all possible have it during a off time. If it is workable small grain stubble would be ideal. That gets it in the September period when guys can get away, here at least. If it has to be Corn stalks I would suggest removing the fodder if you can. These old plows don't handle it well.

Nother thing is loading facilities. Don't need anything super fancy but a tractor and loader or forklift to set the plows off and on is kinda a good thing to have for the guys that are trailering in.

Other than that have food and drink available. Pizza and pop is always a hit.

One in my area (Central MI) included a mid day tractor ride to a local restaurant for lunch. Extra plows available for some who don"t have or cant haul their own. Depending on location, porta-john might be handy.

I have hosted a plow day for 4 years now. all on wheat stubble in sept. I assume this is your first one? If you have trouble with people not wanting to come back next year, you're doing something wrong.
I have never advertised, I call a few friends, then they call a few ect. I tell my neighbors about it. last year I had 15 tractors/plows and 75 people. About the right size. Depending about interests and field size, you might want to set a limit as to the size of plow ect. Have food and drinks (no beer ect). I figure one plow for 1-1/2-2 acres. (most people make a few rounds then eat and talk) It is a family thing, with wifes, kids, grandparents, so you must plan for that.
It is "pot luck", there has never been a shortage of food. Never needed a loader for unloading. If you are the host, don't plan on doing any plowing yourself, you'll be busy with other stuff.
People seem to have a real problem parking their cars in a spot that is in the way. Supply picnic tables, garbage cans, lawn chairs, portapotty if you are away from the house. One year we had a tent, the idea was to use it for shade, we used it to keep out of the rain! As you can see most of the your work has nothing to do with a plow or tractor.
Start your strips the day before and enjoy it, plow day for you will go by fast.

Been to a lot of 'em, always have a blast, but I'm lucky to have several rigs to take and good friends to host the day.. choice of MM U, JD A and G's, or IH M and H...all good tractors and plows. DO NOT have beer or any alcoholic beverages of any kind at any time, that opens a can of worms for awful lawsuits if anything goes wrong...anything. Public will give you NO slack or sympathy....You only have beer with a close circle of VERY CLOSE friends back on the farm and out of sight of the road(s) totally unadvertized....VERY PRIVATE and you're still takin' a chance...... Port-a-John and Pizza and pop a good idea, tell each one when they come you're planning on that and accept their donations...there will be some offers. Open the plowing lands (set backfurrows) and tell everyone please to try to do a good job and be ready to help those who don't know what they're doing...there will be some.....Have a good "camera crew" and places for cars and trucks to park. A loader and chain is always nice to have available on the sight.

Plenty of ground to plow on a nice weekend. A good lunch never hurts either. Sometime I travel 3 hours to get to plow. Along with 3 hours of greasing, loading, and chaining down. Bunch of work goes into it. Worth every minute.
