Plow for an R

What would be an "era correct" plow for a 1952 model "R"?

Jim, I would think a JD 66 model 4-14 or 4-16 plow would have been the plow that was used with a JD R. Attached is a picture of the one I have that I pull with my JD 830. The 66 plow parts manual I have says they were built from 1945 to 1960. Al

Here are some pics of plows I have. The first one is an older 4x16 plow, may be the model 66, which was originally ground lift and then converted to hydraulic. I used this behind my 820 in the 1960s and 1970s. The second pic is a newer 4x14 plow with the trip bottoms, replaceable shins and throw-away shears, 4 bolt land wheel, that I resurrected and I will use it behind my present 820 JD tractor when I get a chance. Not sure of the model, maybe a F620???

The 2nd pictures does look like an F620. I also have an F620 4-16 plow that I pull with my JD 6110R 4-wheel drive as it is just a bit too much for my 830. Al
