Plow for my SC

Hi everyone. I got the SC running good and I want to get a tow plow for it. I know from what I’ve read a two bottom 12 inch. Is there any particular plow that would be better. I’m seeing more John Deere plows near me. I’m. In central PA. I really don’t know much about these so I’ve got a lot to learn. Thanks for any help.

2/14s is a good size also and easier to find.

A good 2/14 hydraulic lift Case Centennial plow would be perfect for your SC. That being said, condition is more important than manufacturer everyone made a working plow by the forties, a worn out beat up plow will cause much frustration, JD and IH will probably have the best parts availibility, the hydraulic lift is nice for reliability, most plow clutches are getting long in the tooth by now. I have a friend in PA that has Case plows, i will contact him to see if he has anything available if you like.

No hydraulics on my SC. I may be interested. Depending on price and location. I’m just about an hour east of Pittsburgh. How long and wide. are these plows. I only have a 5x10 trailer. Thanks

Your trailer should be fine. He lives about 30 miles north of Harrisburg.

I have a 2-14 Case built in early 50"s mechanical lift I doubt has plowed 50 acres, distance would be a problem.
