plow identification

Can anyone help me with the identification of a John deere plow? Its a 3 14" hydraulic lift. I need new shares because the front part of the shares are broke off. i took off what was left of the shares and wire brushed looking for a part number but it is too rusted. I think it is a 55H but im not for sure. Is there any way to tell for sure what number it is? Can i tell by the serial number of the plow, if so where do i find the serial number on it?

It dosen't matter what plow frame you have. Look for numbers on the plow bottoms. Any bottom could be used on any frame depending on soil type.

You may have to shoot us a picture of your bottoms. If it is in fact a 55AB there are many many different types of bottoms that could be on it.

Isn't that a whole different web site?
