Ask the company you got the electronic ignition from would be the best way to have it right for no issues from wrong wires.
From the company: Copper core plug wires can be used with the Ignitor, but Pertronix prefers that you don't use these wires because they have caused issues in the past. Copper core wires leak off the voltage and it can spike the Ignitor causing them to fail. Wire wound Suppression wires are sent from Pertronix, and Carbon core wire resistance wires are OK. Jim
 
Ok Jim that is good to know. My Petronix is almost 20 years old and at that time the tech told me the solid core wires were fine. I have been running then all these years with no problems.
