Plumbing Loader Controls-Ford 4610

Hi all,
Looking to plumb a 4 way joystick for loader controls for a Ford 4610. It has the aux engine pump with 2 rear remotes, and we currently use the rear remotes to run the loader controls. I want to free up the rear remotes and stop using them to run the loader. Any tips?

That block will not work on the 10 series tractors. I searched for years looking for one that will work. There is only one place in the US that sells them that I have found. They manufacture them. I keep one in stock all the time. I probably can't post who they are on this forum, due to them being a competitor to YT.

Post away. They can't be a competitor to Parts ASAP if they are the only one who makes and sell them. People post competitors all the time anyway. If Parts ASAP does list the part then show that link. Thanks.

The ebay reference I posted has the following description. Claims it fits not only the 3cyl 4000, but also your 4610 and my 3230 and 3930-s. Not sure what's correct. Welding Man says he has the answers. If he won't say, poke around that ebay listing and you'll see a RAR reference. Call them and ask. I'll probably do the same.

What is that block? Does it work if the tractors got both pumps?

I am in the exact same boat. 1989 4610 with dual pumps and a 7210 loader. I want to add the joystick as well, so looking forward to the correct solution for this.

Your initial post says you have the engine mounted hydraulic pump and you have two rear remotes. I'm assuming the valve powering your two rear remotes looks like the one in the attached picture. The block is bolted (and sealed) between your valve and top cover. You'll notice hydraulic lines coming out of the front of the block. Those lines go to your loader valve. You only need one pump. I doubt you'll be energizing more than one valve at a time so when you're not using the loader you can use one of your rear remotes. The first block I linked to on YT Parts has the part number HV5902. WM says it won't work on your 4610 and that he knows which block you need, but he hasn't offered that info. The second block I linked to on eBay has the part number HV4902. The seller says it will work on your 4610. Call them and ask. This a common solution to your problem. You can also look for the Ford OEM part number on Messicks.com and cross that to the block part number. I think that's all I've got. Would have been better if I'd posted a picture first but I didn't have the ability at the time. Hope this gets you going in the right direction.

Hey, not by the tractor at the moment but it’s got this cover in the picture below. I would assume it would still work, but like I said before I can talk to our local dealer too.

You have a different style remote valve assembly on the back of your tractor from the one I posted but the block I'm talking about should work the same.
