PN won't turn over

Thank you all for the quick responses. Here are my answers to your questions. Yes, I am referring to the starter push switch. It may be that the switch is bad, but that doesn't explain why it won't turn over when it is crossed.

I tried crossing with both types of screw drivers and neither worked.

Blackmagic,Clean and test all battery cable ends and connections.You could have a bad cable end ,to or from the starter switch

Like TOH said below, you just arent getting a solid connection across the poles of that switch. Try some (non- insulated handles) Channel-locks! They have much better electron flow compared to any screwdriver!

I would also check the terminals themselves for continuity to the cables. A little hidden corrosion at that connection point can wreak havoc with you when are trouble-shooting a starting system.
