Would someone refresh my memory on polarizing the Naa regulator.Which two terminals ? Thanks, don b

Yep.. NAA thru thousand series with B circuit genny and regulator, including lucas products.

Jumper battery 'hot' to field.

DONB,
The B type Reg has the "armature" internally
connected (via Reg Contacts) to the "Field" tab.

Both A & B types will Polarize with "BAT to Armature" if the Regulator is OK.

Yea Bob!!!
I spent years trying to explain that, but I finally realized that people not only don"t understand it, they don"t care. They just want to know which point to jumper to which other point to make it work. I hope that you keep saying it right. I just gave up.

You sure got that part RIGHT!
"..they don"t care. They just want to know which point to jumper to which other point to make it work."

And for some, that's OK, but those will be back on everything that comes up, unable to think & reason through a problem, because they don't want to learn how things work.
Like I said...that's OK for some. Just get 'er runnin another day! :)

Bob.....I'm well aware that it's the genny that gets polarized, not the regulator. However when I polarize the genny, I do it at the regulator and that's why I asked the question like I did.Sorry if I mis-led anyone and thanks for the answers. don b
