Position control device

I have recently made a position control device for my TE-A 20. Got the instructions from the FENA site. Does not seem to want to keep the 3 pt hitch in one place. Seems like I need better friction. Has any one made and used one of these devices? Would like to hear from someone. Thanks

I made one, great device. I have a wingnut on the outside of the slip joint, this allows position or draft control without the use of a spanner. I also made the feed back link with a turnbuckle to allow fine adjustment in height.

What do you mean slip joint?

He means the nut that holds the cam on. That joint slips.

The spring you have may not be strong enough.

You could try removing the spring and apply direct torque and clamp load on the cam.

Get it set where you want it and then tighten the nut so the cam does not slip.

Thanks Jeff, I have purchased a stronger spring and will resort to no spring if necessary. It seems rather simple actually.
