position control?

I seen another question about the position control selector and remembered I have a problem with mine.
Put it in the up position, the position I think I should be using for bush hog work, and it just raises the lift arms up.
Not that I moved the quadrant to up, in fact I can put the quadrant in the down position but the arms still raise.
So I have been leaving the position lever in the draft mode. but the hog wants to drop deeper needing frequent adjustments.
Am I doing something wrong?

Try adjusting using the quadrant adjustment (paragraph 151 of the I&T FO4 manual) If that doesn't work (and it probably won't) it's time to pull the top cover for internal adjustments & replacing the cam follower pin.

If it doesn't work, post back for help w/ pulling the top cover, adjusting the linkage & replacing the cam follower pin. Many of us have done that.........more times than we'd like to remember!

It sounds to me like you may have more than adjustment problems. Maybe the cam follower pin is completely worn off or something has come loose or broke etc.

I make a lift adjusting jig fixture with simple instructions and it comes with a new pin.
