You have to host your photos on another website (I use photobucket) then in your message you paste in a hyperlink to the photo on the other website. The link needs to be inside the HTML indicating an image link. That's what the little button above the message box is that says "Img".
Click that button, paste your link, then click that button again. Photobucket actually provides links for forum use that already include that so you can skip that step.

sorry i couldnt figure out what i am doing wrong as far as posting pics. i think i have resolved that i have a 1700BD. i got a little feedback from TBN for which i am gratefull. i have a leak i posted a pic of on TBN but it has to be clicked on to enlarge. i think it may be a overflow possibly on the front axel. it was never clearified. I guess the only question i had is if i put a large K&N cone filter on a piece of radiator hose (larger diameter than intake tube to air box) and use it in conjunction with the factory air filter and assembly would this restrict the air flow to the engine too much. if i cut the factory air inlet tube on the air box too short could i potentially be letting too much air in? im trying to make a pre filter and times are a little tight. I was just looking for some input before i purchase the stuff only to find out it won't cut the mustard. Oh yeah one more question. A while ago i think i e mailed AAron with some hyd questions regarding the pump. Well the project got put on hold due to income and failing economy etc. i guess this would be for future use. will the hyd pump on a 1700BD support 1 to 2, three or four inch double acting hyd cyl's . i was thinking of making my own log splitter or ,when finances become availabel, getting a pre made log splitter which hooks up to rear remotes i would install. some one not familiar with yanmars and limited hyd knowledge told me he hypothosized it would have pleanty of hyd power and speed to split on the extension of the cylinder but may be very slow when retracting the cyl rod. possibly to the point that it would be more of a hinderance than a benifit?

Thanks, Todd

I'm creating a sticky for steering box repair. Researching how to post / resize photos, and I found this. Is there a sticky for posting photos?
