posting photos

Ive been trying to post some photos but it isnt going very well. Can someone help me? I put a link to some in the optional link URL. I dont know if it will work.

Nope, use image url or better yet the upload photo command down near bottom of page under advance posting tools.

Open an account at Phtobucket -- it's free -- I've had an account there for 4 or 5 years. No come ons and no problems. Upload your picture. Copy the "direct link" code and paste in the "optional image url" on this site's meassage box.

I also am computer challenged and don't know how to start to post pics,so if I need to do so,I'll have to ask my 14 year old daughter.---lha,who needs "posting for dummies"

The link you posted is not something that can be accessed by computers on the internet. Move the photos you want to post to an online photo hosting service like Photobucket.com. Once they are on that public site you can add their links to your posts on this forum just as you did in your first try. If you want to include one or more pictures "in-line" with your post simply place the image link in the body of your post and surround it with the appropriate tags like shown below. This site has both a "Modern" view and a "Classic" view. It's a user preference and the tags are different depending on whether you are posting using the Classic or the Modern view. The image will be displayed rather than the tags and URL.
