posting pictures

(quoted from post at 12:31:25 03/15/17) How do I post a digital picture I have taken to this forum

You can upload it to this site using the options at the bottom of the message composition dialogue.

Alternatively you can upload it to an image hosting site like Photobucket and use the
tags to insert it into the body of your message.

Or you can simply compose a message with a link to the image if it is on a server someplace.

Here's another way David:

Photo Attaching

Forget that big "Choose File" button lower down that you've probably tried.
That method hasn't worked since this YT Forum developed problems a while back, where the normal photo uploading method ceased to function as did the option to go back and EDIT (change) what you had posted.

Below where I am typing this to you right now,
You'll see: ADVANCED POSTING TOOLS in a red banner heading.

In the blue colored options there, click:
[b:ce849a27f5]Upload Photo[/b:ce849a27f5]

THEN in new pane that opens --> [b:ce849a27f5]Choose File[/b:ce849a27f5]

THEN ---> [b:ce849a27f5]Upload [/b:ce849a27f5]

THEN if you are satisfied that the visual preview is your chosen photo,
click the [b:ce849a27f5]CONTINUE[/b:ce849a27f5] button just above the little preview of your photo.
the photo link will appear in the text body of your post.

Finally, click the usual big [b:ce849a27f5]SUBMIT[/b:ce849a27f5] button that you normally use to post a message.

Don't worry about filling in all the other fields in that pane; i.e., Make, Model, Year etc. It isn't necessary to add that info.

Actually that is the first option I described. And what doesn't work about the upload phot button. Here is mine uploaded using that button.

in classic view I do it this way:
click post a message
put your message in
scroll to bottom page
click upload photo
click browse
select your photo and double click on it
click upload
whether or not you are done posting photos you must click CONTINUE
you can upload more photos or click on post message
you will then get a preview of your post
if you like what you see post it

hope I forgot nothing..........

(quoted from post at 07:46:14 03/16/17) Pictures I take with my phone are always too big and I have to resize them, windows "Paint" program has a resizing tool in it.

Why don't you just set your phone to take them in the right size?
