potato planter

Most planters in my area of New York are one or two row. I've got an Iron Age which later became Oliver. Actually, I have two and both use a wooden hopper and a canvas converyor belt. One is in good shape and I use it, and the other sits on one of my hedgerows and is in poor condition. Most two rows that I know off all use the same basic platform and McConnel Co. still makes parts for them. Good ones around here bring $800-$1000 or more. I don't know about your area. I will say that many potato farms in the northeast are going under, and most have a few 2-row planters around. I see them listed in auctions every week.
