Potatoes

I dug the first of my new potatoes. Stems starting to dry up. Its been so wet for so long that the potatoes are rotting in the ground. Never saw that before.

Our potatoes have been in for about a month & are still not doing much. They're in well drained, fertile sand & just struggling in the wet. There's been so much rain, some of them were washed out of the mounds. Never seen such a thing. The garden is just staying afloat.

On the other hand, I could sure make good use of some of your extra rain. I plan to pull beans and dig potatoes this week.

You're welcome to all you want! We're just to the point where he beans & corn are no longer yellowed from all the water. It doesn't look like my new Clematis is going to climb out of it either.
