Powder coat steering wheel hub

I have a bunch of non-tractor parts headed to powder coater for black.

Has anyone powder coated an 8N steering wheel hub and spokes or will the oven heat destroy the wheel?

Powder coat is usually cured in the 400F range. Should present no problems for any metal on your tractor.

Clem........the HEAT of the powder coating process will distroy yer steering wheel rim rubber. Me? I'd just replace the entire steering wheel, much cheaper than the powder coating process. ......Dell

It was the wheel rim rubber/heat I was concerned about. It's in great shape, spokes and hub just need a good paint job.

Paint would be a safer route on this.
