Power King Steering Box

Does anyone have a steering box or know where to find one for a Power King 2418? Mine is busted and needs replaced.

You could give Mission Manufacturing at powerkingtractor dot com a try. Their website doesn't show much but I'm pretty sure they have a lot more parts for Power Kings than what you'll see listed.

The 2418 is a fun little tractor - I use mine a lot in the garden.

I think that is a Ross gear. If you can't find a complete one maybe some Cub Cadet parts could be subbed.

That is a good idea… perhaps even Ross or whoever owns them could be contacted.

Are the ones on eBay not the ones that fit your tractor? Know nothing about these but there is something in the description about a 3 bolt and a 2 bolt. The one I looked at quickly said it was a 2 bolt and there could be two different ones of those. They are not cheap! Just web search your title of this thread and add 2418.

Yes, if it were me I'd try Mission Manufacturing or Ebay.
Mission has a lot of parts that aren't on their website.

The one I looked at quickly said it was a 2 bolt and there could be two different ones of those. They are not cheap! Just web search your title of this thread and add 2418.

This looks a little different than the one on mine. Reckon it would work? Mine is a 1980. What happened with mine was I was trying to take off the bolt holding the steering wheel on, and turned too hard and busted the bottom of the steering box. Reckon it could be welded or would you have to replace it?

Aluminum or Iron? Cast iron can be welded or brazed. Aluminum can to but it's more difficult and costly.
