Power shift

When I up shirt my 91 336d the speed declines I smell no clutch burning. Could this be a filter or pump issue?

It sounds like your main clutch disc (not powershift) is slipping. Is your pedal adjusted correctly?

Yes I have 1/2" free play at top of pedal. Also have noise from underneath the seat when no pressure is applied to clutch pedal

Changed the hydrolic with 303 can and cleaned the screen actually looked good. Low (1st) power shift 1,2,3 work fine. (2nd) power shift 1 is ok 2nd slippes 3rd dies no (3) nothing? Help

Don't have a good answer for you but I can tell you a bad clutch will always show up on higher gears. Might check your pto when slipping is happening. If pto stops also or slows down you can figure the main clutch. Naturally your pto may turn some from inertia unless it is loaded. Pretty sure your 336 has an internal over run clutch.

I agree. The PTO is going to be the key to troubleshooting this problem.
