Power steering fluid reservoir fluid

My 1965 Massey-Ferguson 180 tractor manual calls for automatic transmission fluid type A in the power steering reservoir. What would be a modern day replacement for the old type A ?

Dextron=OK, Universal Tractor Fluid, 46 Hyd. Oil, Type F, And/ Or Non Detergent 20 wt. probably A Ok- forgiving. By way- earliest auto trans (GM, Crysler - dodge Gyro-Matic) Used 20 wt non detergent. When GM got serious with WW II proven hydramatics they got serious with there Spec and went with (wait for it...) A fluid. Most others copied, not Ford o Matic. A had the Whale oil. Ironically- if you check a 65 T Bird (others) the EATON power steering pump will specify A, but the trans (ford) won't but if you have the Ford PS pump you are to use the Tranny fluid in your PS. As I said (others) don't sweat it- Merc-dec 2, 3 others a ok. Or remember PS really needs few additives and go with above-relax. I think simple mineral oils quiet pumps and stop leaks about as good as (a OK) BARRS PS Stop leak. Rock on.

Thanks to all whom replied. Stayed with Dex-tron, I would have changed to UTL but didn't want to try to flush out the entire system of the Dex-tron.
