power steering need help here.

Have oliver 550 also have power steering that has pump on the back of generator. Could use it but what about a delco alternator and belt driven pump. I belive ford had a belt driven pump on its tractors. any suggestions on this set up?

First off,I wouldn't change it to an alternator if you had a gun to my head. If the problem is that you need parts for the pump on it and can't find them from Agco,try an auto parts store. I've been told they are the same as some of that same vintage GM cars and are available.
