Power steering problem

I have a 1962 Massey Ferguson 50 farm tractor with Perkins diesel and front loader. As I was loading a bale of hay I heard a loud noise (like something broke) near the front of the tractor. I now have no power steering. Can not find anything broken with the ps cylinder or any linkage of the steering system. I am open to and appreciate all suggestions.

Where is your PS pump? Is it attached to the front of the engine? A driveshaft off the front of the crankshaft? If all your linkages are OK, that only leaves the pump, or the pump drive. steve

Power steering pump is attached to the right side of the engine at the front of the engine.
