Power Steering Pump, Ford 3000 dsl

So my pump power steering pump runs itself out of oil look to be going into the crank case, fill it works great for about 2 hrs.
can anyone point me to the Ford expert so that I can diagnose and correct this issue. Thanks for the kind consideration.

If no external leaks it would be going by the shaft seal. Does it have the round or the early square pump? Either way it will have to come off. Seal kits are available. Make sure the pump housing is not worn where the gears ride. If too much wear you may as well replace.

Thanks for sharing, now let me add to the equation ford suggested a double seal repair kit facing opposite, installed and the issue persists what are some other possible sinarios, too much pressure ? I did not actually do the work so maybe the shaft is the issue or the mounting flange worn, so I'm seeking out what to look closely at, so all ideas are considered once again thanks for your help

one other possibility perhaps, what is your professional opinion on this? if my friend replace the pump seals and used motor oil instead of the required, would that in of itself compromise the seals thus causing the continued transfer/leak, furthermore would this require flushing out at the next repair attempt is made? as always thank for your kind consideration

Motor oil won't hurt the seals, think about it for a moment, one of the seals is to prevent the engines motor oil from getting into the power steering pump.
I'd pull the pump and check the seals, I installed a set last year and accidentally put them in backwards, the seals where turned opposite of each other in this fashion [], this put the outer seal on the shafts taper for the gear and the seals lip rolled out from the pressure, the seals need to be installed in this fashion ][.
I've installed several power steering pump seals and know how they go in, but I simply made a mistake.

Let me get this straight.... you've already resealed this pump and it's still dumping it's oil in 2 hours use?

If that's the case, the pump is finished. I know everybody talks about resealing these things like it's a fact of life.... but I've probably
seen a dozen of these things apart and perhaps one was worth resealing. When the bearing blocks are worn and the housings cut by the gears,
the pump is finished. It's a Plessy gear pump. They're not rebuildable. The only question you need to answer is do you have an intergral
reservoir pump or not... and if not, do you want to spend the extra money to maintain that or replumb it a bit to use the integral pump.
The integral pump is a good deal cheaper. Just get one with an appropriate relief valve setting.
