Power steering to manual

I have a 65 4000 3 cylinder and the power steering cylinder is leaking bad! I did a reseal but the shaft seems to be bent.
When I steer to the right it blows out the seals. I am restoring it and the PS system always leaked out of the external reservoir and I sealed it up. When I redid the seals I noticed that if it turned the shaft it had a lot of resistance in certain spots, this leads me to the conclusion that it is bent. I bought the tractor used and do not know the history. I want to convert to manual steering. My issue is now that it seems to be unique. The dealer shows the cylinder being a 4100 and the rear drag link is 41 1/8 long and 5/8" thread. Most 4000 before 1970 are 1/2" I think the c7NN3307A rear drag link will work but want to confirm.
My pump is leaking also. I will just continue to use it without any fluid but worry about the pump causing issues if I do not remove it and go back to manual steering.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I am a big fan of PS and would likely go to great lengths to add it or keep it.
But if it's not a big deal to you then do away with it. If I were to go that route I would just buy the tie rod ends and weld them on to a piece of 3/4" schedule 80 pipe. I would also go to a bone yard and buy the little cover plate that replaces the pump and eliminate that too.
