Power steering

Ford 5000 power steering, no assist when turning right, what should I look for?

What year 5000? Is the steering cylinder under the radiator or behind the fuel tank?

Sounds like the one under the radiator.
Mine was like that when I first got it

If it's the earlier style with the cylinder under the nose of the tractor then it sounds like the linkage for the control valve is worn.

Behind the fuel tank? I assume you are referring to the later ones that have the cylinder integrated into the steering column. Your description is sure to confuse some folks who will be looking around under the fuel tank for a visible hydraulic cylinder.
