I have a 1978 1500 and when the bucket is loaded it is preety hard to steer , is there such a thing as a bolt on power steering unit?

I installed a Yanmar PS kit on my 226. Works fine but troublesome: three broken knuckle arms, another broken attachment twice (the piece that goes from the front-end joint and screws into the cylinder and takes a special puller to get off), and the cylinder seals leaked. And if I use a non-Yanmar oil filter, it's slightly longer and the PS components hit it. Pump up your front tires (and your arm muscles).

I don't believe the steering components of a non-powersteering tractor are beefy enough to withstand the added pressures of powersteering. I hear a lot about broken components caused by add-on powersteering units.
