Power step for tractor

Thinking about a power_up step for my Ford 641.My legs give me trouble getting up to the loader frame. Maybe an Acme screw powered by a cordless drill, wired into the tractor. Anybody have ideas?

I did this for a neighbor a few years back. I don't know how that allis post got mixed in and half mine disapeared, kinda weird. If you want I can link a better post from another site thatnshowsmthe qhole thing.

I like it I had to laugh when your wife got on the seat she bounced up and down and turned the wheel like she was going for a ride.

I think I'll need one for my 1550 in a couple of years. That step is above my knee.

The Acme screw is from an idea to make a crutch with a powered step. Your idea would be simpler if it"s going to be attached to the tractor anyway. Thanks.

Might not serve the purpose here but there are 12 volt power steps for RV's the just are steps that come out then go in for storage, you still need to clime them like regular steps.

Since your ford is lower and you need less lift, I would take one of these jacks amd make a platform that pins in there. Then just mount it to the tractor. If you keep the platform small and close to the jack it will handle it fine. If you can fab it yourself you could be done for a couple hundred dollars.
