okay guys I am trying figure something out. I asked a question a couple days ago about hooking up couplers. I have dummy plugs now. someone said I could plumb into the side of the box. will I still get the same result.

Yup we have our 70D and 48 B plumbed into the side and it works good. Jim

Brian that was me that posted a picture on how I've got my power-trol plumbed in to run a remote cylinder. My rock shaft still move a little but that's ok with me. Here's the picture again. 3/4 to 1/2 pipe bushings into the side then a 1/2 to 3/4 street L then a 1/2 pipe nipple then your pioneer fittings.

So... on your 70 does the rockshaft still work when you want it to if the hyd. remotes are plugged in this way?
Is it possible to use the remote when you want and the rockshaft when you want, or do they work in sequence with the lowest load going first.
Say on a three point log splitter. Does the cylinder go in and out without the 3 pt going up and down each stroke? Can you lift the splitter without the cylinder moving?
I have one I want to set up and the option in the picture is way cheaper than buying the correct JD remotes.

my father in law didn't know how it would work he had never done one that way. he always changed out the box. you don't have any issues raising or lowering an implement.
