I have new press wheels but patched a couple of the worst to get them through about 300 acres then Ill put it apart and redo it right

Have the gong wheels on a Case press drill that wear enough to split at the weld. I repair them the same.

That'll work. Looks a whole lot better welding than I could possibly do.

What crop are you seeding? Is spring plowing still popular in South Dakota?

Don't seed this way anymore, but when I started 54 years ago almost all small grain was put in with a pony drill and plow. Put this rig back together a couple years ago to remind myself how I started out. Grain and beans are now seeded with a 20' Great Plains no-till drill...

Its a mig machine and a nice one at that it does a good job
