pressure washer??

I bought this Worx pressure washer last august, washed my little deck and some siding and parked it in the basement. Saturday I got it out to wash my garden tractor. Worked perfect for about a half hour and then a brass fitting popped off the bottom, looked like it had been over tightened. I got the threaded part of with a easy out.

The fitting had a hose going to the bottom of the soap tank, I don't care about the soap but was wondering what would happen if I stuck a pipe plug in it.
It's under warranty, has a recall on it and they're shipping a new one. They told me it's up to me to get rid of the old one, I'd like to get it working.

sure plug it, wont hurt a thing. without seeing it , it must have venturie action to suck the soap or you need to change a valve. cant hurt anything.

You can plug it. Usually there is a check ball and spring in there to keep water from being pushed into the soap container.
