I have one,built a mount to bolt to axle housings on a 2n ford.Does what i need it too,and i like the fact that it will go deeper than some.

yes on both accounts,,but it may be a while ,I have it taken off right now to work on tractor brakes.I might get it back together this weekend and I'll get back to you.

I know this is a OLD post, but could you send pictures of the mount you made for your 2N? I just picked up a Prewitt-Gross for a song, not knowing exactly what is would go to, but figuring I could make it work on my N-series. thanks.
