Will lowes spray primer work on small parts like my float ride seat parts? I am using acrylic enamel paint. Will the paint effect the primer

You will likely get more response on this on the Paint and Bodywork Discussion Forum. One would have to check to see what the Lowes primer is, to see if it is compatible with the top coat. Why not get a primer from the same source as your paint?

Depends on what type job you are doing.
If you are just repairing the seat and wanting to
paint it you don't need to prime it. Use Rustoleum
JD green. If parts have some rust use Rustoleum
rusty metal primer first.
If you are painting the complete tractor and particular
I wouldn't use acrylic. Use Deere's synthetic enamel.
Mixed paints never match.
I use urethane primer on sheet metal and those spray can
primers (Rustoleum) on other areas that don't need sanding
for a slick finish. Haven't had a problem pulling.
