Was there ever such a tractor from the factory or was the picture I saw recently of one something put together by someone thinking it was a good idea.
 
The Super M was the first 'factory' propane. However there were lots of tractors that were converted at a later date. Your picture would be one of those 'conversions'.
 
Not factory but there were aftermarket kits to convert one. Ive got a full LP conversion kit for an F20. I can see where someone could think its factory since they routed the steering shaft through the tank just like the did in the super M's
