I am a new member. My apologizes if this has already been discussed.
I just found a 900 on factory propane stored in a barn for probably 30years. Tank still holds 70 percent. When vapor valve opened, I can hear propane going all the way to carb. So I have to assume that the regulator has internal problems. Been doing some searches for regulator parts with no luck.
I have had an 1958 AC D17 on propane forever and love propane powered tractors. I would love to have another but am afraid to make an offer if I cant repair the regulator. Many years ago, I was able to get a repair kit for the reg. on the D17.
Also, after some research am I correct to believe this is a 6 volt positive ground system?
Thanks very much for any advice!
