PVC vent?
If so you can likely run it sideways just fne, just slope back towards the heater so the condensation will drain back there and not freeze the pipe up.

if metalpipe .... I am not sure.

Didn't you get the manual with the heater? If not you need to consult it. Some "forced air" stuff is really not, it's just sorta "draft enhanced." In other words some gear can be side vented, some can not. If I was to BET I'd guess it will work OK. You CAN however, vent (short run) out the side, then elbow up above the roof with B vent and a proper cap.

I have a Dornback power vent unit that I vented into the attic then horizontal out of the attic works just fine. Total run both horizontal and vertical less than ten feet. I used double wall flue from the ceiling to outside. I routed it this way to avoid cutting hole in cement block wall or roof. Check your manual or consult dealer as to horizontal venting. I leave it set about 40 degrees and turn it up when working in the shop. My shop is roughly 20 x 40 so it doesn't cost much to heat.
You will get spoiled real quick. Enjoy

try to find the installation manual, all these heaters with the induced fan on them are not approved to be sidewall vented ,even with double wall type b pipe. manufactures tried this in the early 80,s and most units soon turned into buckets of rust because of acidy condensate running back into fan area. Good luck if this is a Reznor brand heater , they are made by our good friends south of the border. dont loose your parts list

I have one about that size in my shop. Ran vent out the siewall. Supposed to have the correct diffuser on the outside end. It looks like a squirrel cage but doesn't move at all.
Most come with natural gas fittings and a kit for propane has to be installed.
