PTO shield parts.

It seems I need some pieces for the spinning shield on a couple PTO's one has just the plastic halves that slip in through the slotted hole after the shield is in place and the other has something different. I'm also having trouble with the release bals in a 1219 mower after 35-40 years thinking maybe the components might be worn a bit since it has always worked fine till this year. just pull the 3 eared piece back push in the lock pin and shove on the ball pushes the pin out as the balls slide over the spline then will not come off good either like the balls will not release it when you pull back on the 3 eared plastic deal. Guess i'll pull it a part ans clean it up and relube it and see if that helps first. Thinking maybe the balls or the ring is worn not letting things work right inside. I also need one of those twist lock release Pto deals to hold it on the tractor shaft. You twist it then shove it on and it twists back to hold it one after you let go of it. Where can I find these anymore. Most I see listed are for those miserable metric shafts with all the do dads on them.

Isn't there just a wire ring holding those ball release collars on? I've taken several apart, cleaned the gunk out of them, sprayed them with a spray lube and put them back together. Not anything that requires spending any money. The one on my baler has a combination to it to get it off the tractor. i have to shut the tractor off so the PTO will turn, then turn the shaft forward, snap it back the other way, then forward again and pull back. I pity anybody wanting to get it off if I'm not around.

The spline must be worn a lot for it to need all that to get it off or on. My 806 is worn like that and requires that with some pieces to get the PTO shaft off like the mower . Baler can be another like that. The other tractors don't have that problem. The mower has the slot like the plastic halves slip into from each side. For the shield. I don't need the whole shield just the pieces to hold it in place. Yes the Mower has a snap ring that holds the plastic deal for the release for the balls on it. Might have a steel sleeve inside of it. Will not know till I get it apart.
