How do you remove the pto sleeve from the back gear on ford 6710. I removed the front gear but the back gear and the sleeve(hold the back bearing) will not fit thru the bottom hole. How do u separate the two pieces.

I assume you're talking about #69 & 70 in the image below? If so, the sleeve comes out the back, and the gear drops out the bottom. The gear should slide forward and drop right out.

yes the spline are not line up, should they be? I might have to chisel the two apart. I don't see a washer between them

The splines have to line up to insert the shaft. If the two are stuck together, that's bad. There should be a thrust washer in between them.
