Pulling sled made from semi tractor

Who built it? Where is it? I saw an old picture a few years ago. Does anyone have any pictures of how it operates? Or can anyone tell me where to find pictures of it? How does it transfer the weight of the semi to the pan? Thanks. Steve

Some pictures of the Little Red Sled there. Don't know if that is what you are referring to or not!

My local club runs one, basics are... The pan runs from just behind the front wheels to just ahead of the front rear. There are 2 hyd cylinders that put pressure on the pan. I'm not sure exactly how the controls work, but there is an electronic pickup on the driveshaft that measures the distance, and as the distance increases, the hyd down pressure does too. The amount of bias between the two is changed for the different classes.

Thanks for the information so far. I found the website (name was spelled wrong) but haven't gotten an email response from the owner yet. I am most interested in what kind of positive displacement hydraulic pump runs the hydraulic cylinders plus allows for change in weight classes and speed of tractors. Thanks again. Steve
