pumpkin patch weeds

I'm a first timer with about 1.5 ac of pumpkins this year and wondering if anyone can tell me a herbicide that will help keep weeds down. Hoping to find a pre-emergent as everything looks good now on the 8"-10" transplants. I will cultivate but that won't last after they start vining. I'd love to find something I can just run through the boom sprayer and not think twice. Oh yeah and by the way organic. Yeah right, don't care a bit as long as it does the job. Thanks in advance.

Strategy is a good pre emerge herbicide to put on at the time of planting. Poast can go over the top of pumpkins and will get rid of grasses. Sandea will help with broad leafs but needs to go in between rows not on the pumpkins.

This year I am only using Strategy and Poast and will fight the broadleafs by hand.

I have 3 acres of pumpkins.

I don't have any personal experience, but my agronomist told me they will defenitely be injured if not burned down with Sandea.

talking about poast I have a couple loads of old horse poo with alot of sawdust mixed in. think that will work or will it mess up my ph? thanks again
