put it to work

Got the 10 acres plowed with the 135. Just rebuilt the Perkins gas engine. Happy to say it ran great, good oil pressure, and ran nice and cool.
Best part was not having to add oil and change spark plugs. Used about 14 gallons of gas, which i didn't consider too bad. Plenty of power for a 2 bottom plow.
Now the old girl has a good engine and 4 brand new tires. Maybe i should paint it. Still need to disk and drag it but that can wait till its closer to last frost.

Good luck. We have a 165 gas and it has been a loyal steed. Starts in any weather. Never misbehaves.

Wow -10 acres seems like a lot for a 2 bottom plow. 70 years ago that was the norm for small dairy farms with IH H's and the like.
Yes, it takes about 12 or13 hours to get it all plowed. Then you need to disc it which takes another 6 hours per time. By the time its ready for the gardeners to come you have had enough' fun' with the tractor.
