putting on decals

iv heard that wetting the area your going to put ur decals on with a sponge is the best way so u can move them if not level and good for getting bubbles out or is there other tricks

I use a Spray bottle...Don't do it in the Sun of course....use a squezze [spell ] to work the waterout...start in the middle and work out ...thats just my 2 cents....mv

I use a spray bottle and dip the decals (after removing the back) in the same solution.

by solution I mean that you add a LITTLE bit of ivory soap to the water.

This is Jorde's formula and it works good for me. Also works on tractors other than JD lol.

I had a huge bubbly mess under the big Red Stripe decals on the sides of the hood on my 2-135 White. Some folks told me I should have wetted the surface before I put them on. Miraculusly, after a day or so of working it,the heat of the engine must have had an effect and took them all out,so...maybe heat from the backside if you do get bubbles after the wetting trick.
