is it as simple as turning up the rpm on a 560 injection pump from 1800 to 2400 to use it on a 660 ?

The 560 and 660 are the same pump EXCEPT for the main governor spring. The 560 stock no load speed is 1980 RPM, the 660 is 2640. The 560 main spring might make it to 2640 but the speed droop might not work well. All other specs, load advance and max fuel settings are the same for both pumps. The 560 full load speed stock is1800, the 660 is 2400.

I was asking because I am short in 660 working pumps. So just wondered if I could cheat and just turn up the 560 pump. Thanks. Gonna have to send u one sometime.
